Too intense sport would have a bad impact on men’s libido
A new study published in the journal Medicine & Science in Sports & Exercise states that too intensive a practice of sport would deplete the male organism by drawing from the testosterone reserves. Too intense sport would have a bad impact on men’s libido. The researchers ensure that the male sexual appetite would be stimulated by a more moderate physical exercise.
American researchers have studied the case of more than 1 000 athletes. The latter were subjected to a questionnaire to detail their health, libido and the intensity of their sporting activities.
The conclusion is quite clear! Too much physical activity decreases the amount of testosterone. This hormone is known to stimulate libido. The study does not specify the intensity or duration beyond which the libido suffers. The threshold is individual and depends on the fatigue of each man.
